Citizenship: U.S. citizen or permanent resident, international studying in the US or DACA recipient.
Enrollment: Enrolled in or graduated from an educational program that’s eligible to receive federal aid*
Age: At least 18 years old or the age of majority in your state.

You can increase your chances of qualifying for a private student loan by maintaining a strong credit score and high income. If you don’t meet those requirements, you should try applying with an eligible cosigner who does.
*Note: Parents applying on behalf of their children do not need to meet the enrollment requirement, but the child does.
