Heads up: you can only add a cosigner after you've submitted a pre-qualification request.
Once you submit a pre-qualification request:
Visit your Sparrow Dashboard
Click on the card that says Step 2
Click the Add a cosigner button
Upon clicking Add a cosigner, you'll notice that there are two ways to add a cosigner:
Sign up my cosigner
Sign up your cosigner yourself by entering information on their behalf
Invite my cosigner
Invite your cosigner (via email) to enter their own information
If you would like to sign up your cosigner yourself:
Click Sign up my cosigner
Enter your cosigner’s information
Basic Information (full name, email address, phone number, date of birth, citizenship status, and SSN)
Permanent Address
Financial Information (Housing and Employment)
If you would like to invite your cosigner via email:
Click Invite my cosigner
Enter your cosigner’s contact information (full name and email address)
Sparrow will send an email to your cosigner inviting them to join your Sparrow request.
Be sure to tell your cosigner to keep an eye out for an email from Sparrow. If your cosigner cannot find an email from Sparrow in their Inbox, tell them to look in their Spam folder.
